i own one, should have bought box type

OK for lite duty or kids ATV. the zipper pulls break, weak buckles on tie downs – I use zip ties as back up tie downs, if you haul cables – come a longs – etc… – line it with carpet or something that will keep these from eating through thin fabric, elastic on top of bag “junk”, my bag lasted one season before I needed the Duct tape.

Each heavy obligation winch mount plate is designed to withstand the rigors of pulling your machine out of the deepest holes. We personally torture test our machines to make sure your mount is the last thing you will have to worry about. Quality fit and finish

Bought this for my 08 Artic Cat 500 over a year ago. I mounted a 2000# superwinch to this mount. Nice sturdy mount which fit perfectly.

Generally speaking, Artic Cat ATVs have a big market percentage as far as mid-range ATVs are concerned. Combine their affordability with high quality elements – they have gained good ground on the ATVs that they construct and thence far, have a lot of ATV fans hooked. The 2007 model comes in three versions to meet the dissimilar needs of dissimilar ATV riders. The good thing is that there’s an option for you to buy the Arctic Cat ATV which is a single-seater or you may pick the Artic Cat that is a double-seater – the choice is yours to make. Accordingly, the price divergence is roughly $1,000. The other Arctic Cat 400 versions are ones with and without automatic transmission.

What others have to say when it comes to Arctic Cat 400 4×4 ATV

This ATV is more comfortable than we primary expected it to be – the seat is exceedingly soft and comfortable to ride on making each ride you have on the ATV a smash! Most Arctic Cat fans say that the thing that they were most impressed with were the fact that it had a front lock differential – it’s almost totally unlikely to get stuck in this ATV. “One time, I was ready to fetch on the winch but then I all of a sudden remembered that my Arctic Cat had front differential feature and within a heart beat, I was out. It was amazing”, says Kenneth Mahon (35), a satisfied Arctic Cat ATV fan.

Cody Zimmerman (22), is perfectly in love with his Arctic Cat 400 and says that it’s an AWESOME machine to have merely because of it’s ground clearance. It’s fast enough, safe enough, fun sufficient and may go just regarding anyplace a two-wheeler and four-wheeler may go. And Cody reckons that Arctic Cat gives good pricing for an ATV like this too!

However, it’s not all beds and roses with the Arctic Cat because one problem we found was that the gears were set too high. For instance, the reverse gear was set so high that if you tried to reverse yourself out of the mud, you won’t be competent to because it won’t have sufficient power to get the ATV out. Perhaps a change of tires would do the trick, so, it’s all trial and error here.

Arctic Cat 400 is probably not the best machine to race on but it is unquestionably one of the best ATVs to own if you love get a little muddy! It’s got the power to get the machine out of anything if you get the right tires and it’s the right way fast. But we reckon it’s not one thing a little modification can’t fix. And for that price? Come on!

2005 Arctic Cat 400 4×4

This wire rope is a substitute percentage and is made of aircraft wire rope and galvanized to protest corrosion. It has a swaged loop on one end and a terminal on the other for easy use. The length measures 50-ft and it has 5/32″ diameter. It works with RT 15 and 1.5ci winches.

Foggy plastic! Don’t waste your time or money!

This ‘windshield’ is nothing more than foggy plastic. The seller also does not mention that this only fits Polaris Rangers 2008 or older (this is marked clearly on the box) so it did not fit my 2011 Polaris Ranger. Will be returning promptly.

Stops The Wind

This is exactly what you see. It is not a exactly a windshield but it stops the wind is light weight and doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. I would buy another when this one wears out. That won;t be soon from the way it is constructed.

For the price you cannot beat it. Very well constructed and I was surprised at the clearity of the windshield.

Like others said in other reviews, even if I have to replace it every couple of years it is worth it.
